Adipic acid, also known as fertilizer acid, is a carboxylic acid organic compound, can be used as a chemical reagent, also used in plastics and organic synthesis. It is a white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in water is acidic Adipic acid, as the basic unit of a variety of chemical products, is by far the most important aliphatic binary carboxylic acid in industrial production. Around the world, about 3 million tons of adipic acid is used to synthesize the monomer of Nylon-66.
