Acetylene cyclohexanol has the nature of alcohol, and as a nucleophile, it can react with acid anhydrides, acid chlorides, haloalkanes, etc. to form ethers and esters. Alkyne cyclohexanol has the properties of alkyne, and can be added with halogen, hydrogen halide, water, etc.; it can also generate metal alkyne compounds, which are widely used. Adding acetylene cyclohexanol to the corrosive medium can significantly reduce the corrosion rate of metals.
