The main chemical components of psoralea include zanthoxylum toxin, volatile oil, fat oil, resin, psoralen, isopsoralen, psoralen, isopsoralen, dihydroxyisopsoralen, flavonoids (psoralen methyl, psoralen ethyl, psoralen chroenin, new psoralen cholone), monoterpenoid ph-enols, coumarin. Psoralea has the function of warming kidney, helping Yang, absorbing qi and preventing diarrhea.
